Our range of transmissive sensors detect ballooning or straight line running yarns without contact. They automatically compensate for dirt, dust and wax as well as other impurities and are mainly used on staple fibre processes such as spinning and winding.
Specially designed to detect a full range of yarns including fine dtex filament and elastomeric. This sensor has a compensation system and can be supplied with a touch switch to inhibit the detection process.
A low cost version of the industry standard DTY sensor which is able to withstand a harsh environment while detecting the finest yarns that can be made.
Developed to be used extensively on cotton winding applications for yarn pick up sensing – each individually designed to meet exacting machine requirements.

Our range of reflective sensors detect signals reflected from traversing or straight line yarn tracks without contact (mainly on filament high speed winders). Built to withstand severe conditions, these sensors can also be used on staple yarns and can work at speeds as low as 1m/min as well as with very fine yarn counts.
Developed to detect yarn wrapping on a roller and help prevent machine damage, the sensors are designed to match each application and detect the change in a rollers surface reflection – operating a warning output.
